Wai`oli Hui'ia Art Show Criteria & Application

Entry and Criteria

The theme of this show is North Shore Art and Wai`oli Hui`ia Church images.

We are looking for some church images that may be used for items like note cards, etc. commemorating our church’s 175th Anniversary.  If chosen, there will be an acknowledgement & your contact information will be included.

Requirements:

An entry fee of $50.00 will entitle you to a guaranteed space for the three day art show.  We are asking artists to donate 10% of their sales to The Wai`oli Hui`ia Church, which would be tax deductable.  It is not a requirement that work be for sale.

We have limited space and the closing date for applications is March 19, 2010, or when all spaces are reserved and paid.  A Limited display of Non-Professional Kama`aina artists will be as "Space Available".

We request that one (1) art item be donated for the Wai`oli Hui`ia Raffle which will be displayed with your contact information.

Fragile sculpture or 3-D works must be protected by a stand or display case.

Artists are to provide their own easels and displays.

Frames, easels and stands must be sturdy and well constructed.  They must be strong enough to hold your artwork placed within or upon them.
