175th Anniversay Celebration Schedule - 2010
2010 represents the 175th year of service to the Lord for Wai`oli Hui`ia Church. We are planning several events to celebrate throughout the upcoming year - please check back often for continuing updates! Mahalo for your support.
Below are some of the events we have planned for this huge milestone in our church's history.
North Shore Fishing Tournament: Sat. July 17
Waimea-Hanalei canoe paddle: August 2010
Hanalei Plantation Day: Sat. Sept. 25 (postponed until 2011)
Grande Celebration: Sat. Oct. 16 Celebration Worship 2:30 pm

July 5th Last day to turn in entry forms, No Entries will be accepted after this date
July 16th Mandatory Captain’s Briefing- 5:00 p.m.
Black Pot Beach Park
July 17th Fishing Tournament check in starts at 3:30 a.m.,
5:30 a.m. shotgun start, Stop fishing at 3:30 p.m., Weigh Station closes at 6:00 p.m.
July 18th Awards Ceremony at the Wai’oli Park in Hanalei at 1:00 p.m.

Hawaiian Choral Music

Hawaii Youth Opera Chorus
You are cordially invited to a rare and wonderful concert of traditional, contemporary & sacred Hawaiian music
by the Hawai`i Youth Opera Company (24 middle school youth)
& "Kawaiolaonapukanileo" celebrating the
175th Anniversary of Wai`oli Hui`ia Church.
The concert begins at 7:00 p.m. in the amazing acoustics of Wai`oli's historic sanctuary. At 6:30 p.m. will be an "Open Chorus Rehearsal" inviting the public to rehearse singing “Ua Mau” to join in with the choirs at the end of the concert. Everyone is most welcome!
